First Page for the Web's Most Competitive Keywords

Through high-quality content creation, we helped Kissmetrics rank for some of the most competitive keywords on the web. Our blog posts are now ranking in their top sources of traffic to their site. We worked with them to attain a first page ranking for (among many others) the term “clickbait”, with 185,000 monthly searches.

Background

Kissmetrics is a web analytics solution that helps users track the success of their advertising and marketing campaigns by focusing on behavior tracking as much as clicks.

Led by Neil Patel, the Kissmetrics blog was looking to compete for some of the highest-traffic and most competitive keywords on the web.

Their team knew that, in order to succeed, they couldn’t casually create content. They needed to dedicate serious resources and energy to achieve business growth through organic search.

And that’s where Codeless came in. In our time working with Kissmetrics, we worked to create high-quality, highly-optimized content pieces that drove brand awareness and high-intent traffic through the sales funnel.

Our Involvement

Our approach always starts with a content audit. With Kissmetrics, we were lucky to find a pre-existing infrastructure and network of content which we could use to support new articles and resources which were competing with the best in the SEO business.

Our goal was to help Kissmetrics achieve their traffic and awareness goals. We created long-form, optimized content pieces which targeted search terms such as “Clickbait,” one of our most ambitious campaigns to date.

With a US search volume of 34,000 and a global volume of 185,000, we knew we’d need to buckle down to get Kissmetrics where they wanted to be – on the first page. Through support pieces, link-building, and the creation of very long form, search-optimized content, we got there.

Results

Our blog posts for the Kissmetrics blog (now amalgamated into NeilPatel.com) are ranking among the most valuable URLs on one of the most valuable marketing-oriented domains on the web.

“Codeless was able to consistently produce high-quality content. They handled everything from pitching blog post ideas, to writing, and editing. If you need high-quality content, Codeless is your best option.”
