Facebook has recently updated the News Feed, and completely revamped the Profile section.
Part of this revision will also improve their apps section. Improvements to the Open Graph should encourage more developers to build on the platform, and encourage consumers to spend even more time on Facebook.

4. Why Reed Hastings Should be Applauded for Netflix Split
There was an outpouring of hate this week when Netflix CEO announced his decision to split the company into two. Thankfully VC Mark Suster breaks down the strategy and explains why Reed Hastings is ultimately making the right decision.
My take? His bold move should be applauded. The DVD vs. Streaming businesses have very different cost structures and revenue models. If he wants to position Netflix for the future of streaming, then they have to make the hard decisions and ditch the DVD business. Read Mark’s post for more information behind the strategy.
